- If the samples received at Genessense (C/o MedGenome Labs Ltd.) do not meet the quality standards required to perform the service, the same will be intimated to the customer and further processing will be based on the instructions of the customers.
- Genessense will provide all materials and results only upon completion of the test process. If this does not align with your expectations, please notify us in writing prior to initiation of the test.
- Once booked an email receipt will be sent to the registered email ID of the user.
- Samples will not be processed unless they are registered on www.genessense.com
- The content of the test report is strictly confidential. This information cannot be shared with any other parties without expressed written consent from Genessense. Genessense reserves the right to pursue the fullest legal action against any violations of confidentiality and improper use or sharing of the reports.
- Any disputes arising out of the contract shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts within the city of Bangalore, Karnataka only.
- The report shall be generated within turnaround time (TAT), however, such TAT may vary depending upon the complexity of test(s) requested. Genessense, under no circumstances, will be liable for any delay beyond the aforementioned TAT.
- It is hereby clarified that the report(s) generated from the test(s) do not provide any diagnosis or opinion or recommends any cure in any manner. Genessense hereby recommends the patient to take assistance of the clinician or a certified physician or doctor, to interpret the report(s) thus generated. Genessense hereby disclaims all liability arising in connection with the report(s).
- In a very few cases genetic test may not show the correct results, e.g. because of the quality of the material provided to Genessense. In case any test provided by Genessense fails for unforeseeable or unknown reasons, that cannot be influenced by Genessense in advance, Genessense shall not be responsible for the incomplete, potentially misleading or even wrong result of any testing if such could not be recognized by Genessense in advance.
- Genessense will store your samples only for a period of 90 days, from the date of receipt of the sample at MedGenome’s lab. In case the customer wishes to opt in for any additional modules, it has to be done within this 90-day period. Post this 90-day period, any unused sample will be destroyed. The samples will remain anonymous for the duration they are stored and Genessense will retain the ability to trace your sample, should a need arise within the 3 months period.
- It’s important to note that although PRS can help detect the risk of specific diseases, it does not completely rule out the chance of developing a disease which may depend on other factors like lifestyle, environment, etc.
